Jobs — Ware­house Operative

In this role you’ll join our small and friend­ly team where you will 

• Receive and process pack­ages with care and pre­pare them for export using our online system
• Pack, repack and con­sol­i­date goods, and arrange ship­ping to coun­tries all over the world
• Car­ry out any oth­er ser­vices offered to customers
• Gen­er­al ware­house house­keep­ing and duties
• Serve cus­tomers pro­vid­ing excel­lent cus­tomer ser­vice by solv­ing their problem
• Man­u­al han­dling of goods is intrin­sic part of the role, hence the role require lift­ing and mov­ing pack­ages of all weights and sizes safely
  

• You must be quick and com­fort­able with using com­put­ers. A com­pe­tent user of the inter­net and online systems
• have good ver­bal and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills
• have the abil­i­ty to work effec­tive­ly on your own and in a team
• have a flex­i­ble ​‘can do’ approach to work
• take own­er­ship of prob­lems and see them through to resolution
• be organ­ised, show good atten­tion to detail 
  

• Pre­vi­ous expe­ri­ence in a freight for­ward­ing companies
• Ware­house experience 
  
• Export expe­ri­ence in the couri­er and logis­tics industries
• Expe­ri­ence using Microsoft Office
